To those who are thinking of resigning without an offer, I seriously advise you not to do so. I resigned in July due to a hectic (you can call it toxic) work culture and was confident enough to get another offer. But nothing materialized, no calls, savings money almost depleted with the EMIs, hard lesson learned!

Please try to resign only if you have an offer in hand or you're financially sound enough to survive without a job for at least a year! Cheers!

Hello, for gartner in India, can anyone share the hierarchy of roles and where does principal stand in that hierarchy. What sort of experience is required for the Principal designation?

I have my own practice for past 5 years and have spent a lot of time building up brand and reputation. I'm thinking of bringing on partners but am trying to figure out how to structure compensation, profit sharing and equity while maintaining control. I dont want to do associates bc I need someone with more experience than I can afford. Does anyone have any ideas on how one can up a law firm?

Has anyone been diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma/hemorrhage in their first trimester ? How did it go for you- did it go away, stay without impact, or lead to a miscarriage ? I’m trying to get a good idea on whether or not to leave my current firm. I have 10 YOE in the military (similar field) and departed active duty last year. I was offered 95k to start where I’ve been for the past year, but have already been offered much more for an industry position. I’ve done the PMP and CSM thing, am getting my TS/SCI now, and am about halfway through my MPA. Is it fair to tell my company I would only stay for at least $127k? Or am I just a complete noob? Located in San Diego.
