Hey nurses, did you become a CNA first? Or go straight into a nursing program? My cousin wants to become a nurse and, I'm going to be totally frank here, I don't think he can hack it. I recommended that he maybe do his CNA first to get a taste for it, but he's insisting he's prepared to nursing. Part of me is worried because a lottttt of people in my cohort in school were regularly partying and doing hard subs (was this the same for others??), and my cousin is susceptible to peer pressure.

I want to save more and so many people suggest stop eating out and cook at home. I hate cooking especially the clean up afterwards, but I usually cook 4-5 days a week. We are a family of 5 so by the weekend I am done cooking and just want to relax. My ask is how to enjoy cooking at home andwhat else can I do to save other than not eat out?

Found myself in a conversation with the branch manager (white male pushing thru his late 60's) about holiday decorations. I just told him how I've been directed by corporate to keep the winter holiday decorations as non denominational and he nearly exploded. Starts saying how Christmas is the "American Way" and "nobody is going to take MY Christmas" and "this is MY BRANCH, I will decorate for CHRISTMAS" and so much more. I'm just flabbergasted, frustrated but not surprised.
