What school already gave out decisions?
Darden and Fuqua ED, The ED factor might also play a role in this
What t25 gave you a full ride? Congrats!
Nothing yet, this is more hypothetical to determine if its worth it to finish my interviews. I plan on honoring my binding ED, but I'm curious if there's room for negotiation or if t25 is too many tiers below to be useful
I was accepted to Fuqua for ED and got $. Was wondering the same thing but from the looks of things:
1) it's comparing apples to oranges. There's less of an objective way of saying eg. Emory $$$$ or Duke $ is better, compared to Darden $$ vs Duke $. Hence, they're unlikely to match.
2) it's ED. If you say "hey, Emory gave $$$$, you gave $ and if you give $$, I'll definitely come!". They'll ask: so if we didn't give $$ you wouldn't come, and breach our agreement?" That could have consequences.
Also, if you even try to compare, they may question the fact that you did not withdraw your apps after the acceptance. ( Im gonna see how my other apps play out anyway but I won't ever let them know lol)
Yeah thats kinda how the scenario was playing out in my head haha. I appreciate the response!
If you got no money at a top 15 you wouldn’t really get a full ride at a top 25... people with full rides at top 30 MBA programs have similar stats to an average M7 candidate
