What are the odds that I’ll be allowed to WFH after completing my FLDP (the undergraduate kind, not the MBA kind)? I know people always say you’re more valuable to the company after you finish these programs but do I have enough leverage to do this (and not get fired, haha)?

It is always worth asking. But I think you shouldn't ask directly to work fully remotely. Start with a "3-day trial" and keep extending it.

How could I get that started? Otherwise, where are some good companies where I can WFH?

It all depends on the company. Earlier in your career you should be in the office and building face to face relationships with your peers and management. Face to face is a competitive advantage among your peers and if you are not doing it, someone else will.

I think it's super dependent on the company, most places are shying away from fully remote so I doubt you'd have much leverage but I guess it's worth a shot

Like everyone above said, it really depends on the company. It never hurts to ask though, the worst they an say is no.

It all depends on the company policy. Some are strict, some are lenient. You should ask them first. Hoping for a positive outcome. Good luck, OP!

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Since we are all WFH, some of my fellow countrymen have headed home and work US hours. Anyone doing this? I know technically not supposed to but these are weird times.

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
