It is always worth asking. But I think you shouldn't ask directly to work fully remotely. Start with a "3-day trial" and keep extending it.
How could I get that started? Otherwise, where are some good companies where I can WFH?
It all depends on the company. Earlier in your career you should be in the office and building face to face relationships with your peers and management. Face to face is a competitive advantage among your peers and if you are not doing it, someone else will.
I think it's super dependent on the company, most places are shying away from fully remote so I doubt you'd have much leverage but I guess it's worth a shot
Like everyone above said, it really depends on the company. It never hurts to ask though, the worst they an say is no.
