SAE above, that is just not the case. People are laid off in many instances in the agency world when they've gotten really good at what they do (hence promotions) and make more money. It is rare that junior people are laid off, because they're the money makers for agencies. They'll lay off the VP and have you or an AE do all the work instead, with not a care. Omnicom only cares about dollars and cents, even when laying off practice or client leads will damage the business. They don't understand client service and the importance of relationships, which is why clients frequently leave agencies when their accounts have turnover. In this business NO ONE is safe from layoff - even top performers.

If anyone wants to join a boutique HR & Talent Advisory consulting firm, Kincentric is hiring for an Associate Partner role! Location doesn’t really matter, but preferably in IL, NY, or ATL.
