If you're looking for good company culture, definitely leave Ogilvy. I am much happier and healthier for leaving.
I am much happier and less stressed now than I was during my time at Ogilvy. My work/life balance is better and I am getting more creative opportunities.
I went in-house after 8 years in agencies. Be warned that while work life balance is better, pay can still be good, etc, there different frustrations. They're usually centered around people simply not having marketing experience or backgrounds. So you end up explaining and fighting for basic tenets of advertising. Depending on the kind of team you move to, some aren't always receptive to in-house teams because they think they can do it themselves.
All that said, I don't regret the switch.
That's why I don't regret the switch. No one ever treats me like a servant or that I should be grateful for working for them.
Freelance! Do it! NOW is the time. Follow writers who are where you want to be and plan/research how to prep to get clients. It's beyond satisfying. My goal is to scale my business and work less than 20 hours in the next few months.
