What are some high salaries for non technical UX/UI researchers or designers? It seems the upper end even with max experience is around 150K? Not talking about UX engineers (would be technical)

Accepted a director role at a f100 industry role. Have worked for this client for a year and hence the opportunity. First time shifting from my current company after 12 years and having second thoughts on whether I should join industry or not. Have another FAANG opportunity which is stuck at team match process for months and not sure if it would ever capitalise.

Left MBB 2 years post Mba to pursue equivalent pay and amazing wlb in a “big old tech” strategy team (think IBM, Dell, HP). I thought boring work would be fine in the context but after 1 year it’s getting to me. How would you think about exit timing to avoid “leaving too fast” but also avoiding becoming branded as an old tech guy? Does the old tech experience look bad for FAANG-like prospects?

To this day still can’t wrap my head around what exactly Corp strat and biz ops do. Can someone explain exactly what these functions do and what the work itself looks like?
