It’s all PTO. I do not think we have a concept of sick leave. There is some guidance on PTO policy which exceeds 5 consecutive days, think it needs your project manager & some other leader’s approval. Check with your RM.

It’s more than 10 days that requires high level approval and it’s just the SM of your area.

If covid then I think you can use APA.

That expired and isn’t an option as of the new fiscal year from all sources I have. Reach out to your TBA as they’ll have knowledge of all the resources available to you based on your situation (e.g. if you’re out for a couple of days, PTO — longer term may be a combo of PTO, STD and LOA). Or call 1-800-Deloitte. I love our friends on this app, but you’re best served consulting the pros on this one.

There aren’t sick days. You can take a leave of absence, but it’s unpaid. Your best bet is to talk to talent and figure out options

Has anyone been in a situation (apartment / condo) where they had a shared wall with a smoking permitted-unit where there was a regular smoker - did anyone speak to your doctor / receive medical advice about whether the secondhand smoke exposure would be enough to potentially cause medical issues? In this case, there would be a shared wall but not a shared ventilation system - slightly concerned about the smell but mostly concerned about medical issues given the carcinogens in cig smoke

Went out this weekend for my cousin’s 21st bday. My cousin ended up getting super sick, throwing up at the bar, etc. my buddy and his gf came to the same bar (they were celebrating gf’s bday). Seeing my cousin in a bad state I decided to take her home. My buddy’s gf got super mad at me and my gf for wanting to care for my cousin. She then gave a half assed apology saying she was annoyed at the situation. I don’t really know how to bring this up to my friend. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Been on FMLA / short term disability for 3 months and doctor recommended 1.5 months extension. My firm refused the extended leave but we’re unable to provide reasons what the under hardship for the firm is. They are pressing me hard for alternative ada accommodation (anything but continuous leave) so I can get back to work. If not they will terminate me next day. Is it legal?

When did you start introducing solids? Paediatrician said today we should start at 5-5.5 months. This feels early and there is no medical reason.

Me and my coworker just started around the same time and I’m having a difficult time gauging my emotions towards the situation. He is going through a lot of personal problems in his life because his wife is sick, but his performance is terrible. He’s technically supposed to be my senior, but I’m essentially helping and coaching him through all his assigned tasks. Like this dude does not know an excel if formula despite 10 years as a Senior Financial analyst. Do I have a right to be upset?

Not sure if anyone else deals with this, but I feel so inferior compared to my friends at medical school or those who went to Ivy post grads. I went straight to Accenture right after college and while I’m so grateful for having a good job, I just feel like I haven’t done enough and will never realize certain financial goals at the rate I’m going. The problem is I’ve never really been good at setting attainable goals and often get discouraged and feel as though I can never be “the high achiever”

Does anyone have any tips to get back into a healthy lifestyle after giving yourself a break for a few days. I had been doing really well for the last 2-3 months, was feeling great and lost about 20lbs. I went away for the weekend and didn’t go crazy but let myself have cocktails and dessert and now I’m having a hard time getting back into the habits I had developed. I feel sick but I keep making bad choices

Hi everyone! I recently accepted a new job with a Big 4 and am also newly engaged. I have a couple of concerns… the main one being that I may not have enough time off for 2022 to cover taking off for the wedding, honeymoon, and then a couple of other weddings where I’m supposed to be a bridesmaid. Do you think there would be any wiggle room with managers allowing time off, or is it generally pretty strict? (Continued in comments)
