im not married but I think if you are asking if your marriage is over then it probably is

likefunny

Don’t think it is that simple though. Marriages go through rough patches, and some do recover. It would be helpful for both of you to be honest with yourselves about what you want and then communicating that to each other. Easier said than done - which is where therapy can really help

like

Marriages go through ups and downs, and COVID has been a down for a lot of my friends. Several of my friends are giving their marriage till the end of the pandemic & couples therapy before making a final call. Good sex is either about novelty or communication, so it makes sense that you’re unsatisfied when you have neither. My spouse and I go through dry-ish spells, but a conversation about personal needs and one 🔥 suggestion will get things going again.

likehelpful

Try discussing it with him and see how he’s feeling. Perhaps try counseling. It sounds like the intimacy is gone and you’re more friends. Some marriages work on that basis, but I’m not married and can’t tell you what’s important for you. If you’re unhappy, consider changing the situation.

Have you tried counselling? I don’t know if it’ll help your situation, but I like knowing I did everything I could

Do you still love and care about him? Have you heard of the 5 love languages? Have you talked with him about your needs, and has he shown effort to make things better with you? I’m divorced, and I could’ve written this post myself. I realized that my relationship was sexually driven, and when that was gone there was nothing else.

There’s something that’s happening in both or either of your lives that’s creating this distance. Find the root cause. No sex or intimacy are symptoms of something else that’s off somewhere else. Wow, this sounds so cryptic!

Might be an unpopular opinion but I’m not terribly thrilled with the new Halo Top ad. I’m all for body acceptance but part of the reason COVID hit the U.S. so hard is because of co-morbidities like obesity. There has to be a line btw “real” bodies and not celebrating a state that causes so many medical issues - Ie overweight without the medical definition of very obese. Do you think brands have gone too far in the other direction?

Today our board votes whether or not to send us back on March 1st. We have been virtual all year. My diabetic husband and I both had COVID but we still haven’t been able to get vaccinated and there is a chance that we could get another strain. They could send us back for state testing and the WIDA. I’m nervous.

And today 22% hike 160% bonus. I mean i just joined 6 months back. What else you want from any company? I have great WLB since joined. #greatCompany #Love❤

So I had a some friends who went to Cabo, and when they returned they all(7) took the covid test and came back positive. 5 days later, no one was showing any symptoms so they all went to another clinic and they took the test and they all tested negative. Don’t get me wrong, I wear a mask and take precautions, but when you hear stories like this, you wonder how much of these reported numbers are manipulated or incorrect.

Any stories of people getting admitted to the NY bar despite getting fired from their first legal job? For context I was fired from my first big law job during Covid-April last year, due to performance issues and failure to meet billables. They’ve remained somewhat neutral on my employment affidavit by leaving the box regarding satisfactory performance blank and indicating it’s firm policy to only verify dates of employment. Am rather nervous! Thoughts? Has anyone gone through this? How?

Apparently more than a few of my firm's associates moved to other states during COVID and are now quitting because we are coming back to the office. The wierd thing is that my office is quickly replacing those associates with other associates that moved here (a large secondary market) during COVID and refuse to go back to their (mostly NYC-based) firms. Is this churn happening at other firms too?
