Hi Fishes, I checked with HR in Amdocs and got to know that although I am selected, cleared all the rounds and submitted the documents. But my profile is on hold and if the current position is lapsed then will consider me next open opportunity for the same role without any more interview. Can this happen or happened with anyone? I have 2 months notice period left. I don't have any offer in hand and seriously wanted to join amdocs. Amdocs Tata Consultancy

Or if anyone has even better idea. Please share.
Question why do some companies repost the same position over and over? Or slightly change the job description?
I've been working in pharma for 5 years and was promoted to AD in 2019 without a pay raise. I am looking for new opportunities now since I'm underpaid. I have strong client relation and leadership skills. Should I be looking for mid or senior level positions? Is senior AD the next level?
At what point do you think you're ready to quite your job and work on a start up full time?

I’m a Junior right now and I’m thinking about my career growth. I’m planning at staying at my currently company at least until I become Analyst. I love R/GA and the work I do but I want to make sure I’m getting compensated fairly throughout my career. I’ve been think I’ll stay until I’m a Senior and then when I’m ready to be manager, I’ll start looking around and then possibly come back. When do I jump ship? Do I stay forever? Any personal experiences?

Been with a company who encouraged emails to clients. Anything detailed I would get approved from compliance. New company is anti-email. Overall I like not being chained to my email.
I am getting mixed information from the google, so I thought I’d ask here. I’m almost 38 wks with my first. 1cm dilated and basically in waiting mode. I was planning to get waxed before going to labor but now I’m worried since I’m dialated it’s not a good idea? Thoughts/comments? Safe/unsafe? Should I just shave to “clean things up” or just let the doctors deal with it? 😬🥴

I've been through three rounds of interviews at a FAAANG-adjacent (I know, I know) company for a big role. Essentially my dream job. My last round was to submit an assignment, which I did on Wednesday night. On Thursday the internal recruiter responded and shared that "they'll be in touch about next steps very soon...no later than Tuesday!" Well, it's now EOD Wednesday and I haven't heard anything despite following up this morning. Is this a bad sign?
If I am moving to a new agency but with the same title, to how much salary bump can I negotiate?

Hey HR/Copywriters...what do you say about workshopping a resume from the heart.
No jargon. Brutally human. Slightly colorful.
The English language is so much better than the 500-lame-word ball and chain that resumes have been subjected to.
I’m a square peg in a round hole type of person anyway. DM me and I’ll have the jargon version and a first go at the colorful version ready to go. Let’s try it with yours also.
I’m curious to know how can I follow up with a recruiter without looking desperate. The interview went really well, and she said she would reach out soon, but haven’t heard back from her yet.
Am I ok to submit a PDF resume with different columns, formatting, etc.? It's completely clear and legible to a human, I just don't know if the system has trouble reading it and if it's better to submit a Word Doc.
