Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

Providence Health & Services Anyone looking to exit to industry? I’m a former Big 4 revenue cycle consultant now leading the net revenue valuation and analytics at a large West health system with two current openings. One is in the data shop (SQL, cloud migration, Clarity) and the other is on the analyst side (budget/forecast, variance/trend analysis). Offshore team for the grunt work allows us to focus on value-add, including collaboration with our data scientists on integrating machine learning into our processes. Providence Health & Services

Check out Vault. They have a list of top healthcare consulting firms.

I think the answer also varies between life sciences, provider, and payer
McK, BCG // Chartis, ECG for more boutique flavor. ZS crushes it in life science.
Speaking from strategy perspective
ZS for pharma
We have a ton of great healthcare work and PwC is pretty big in the space. For healthcare work our two biggest competitors are McK and D (in terms of strategy and payer/provider work)
Define healthcare
Not sure how it is in the US, but Deloitte’s Canadian healthcare practice is crushing it
Yes healthcare in Canada is primarily public sector, so not as lucrative as in the US, though they have done some work with private. And they really do a lot from digital health strategy, to tech transformations in hospitals, to clinical operations and care models. I’d say we’re a pretty all encompassing practice when it comes to healthcare (within the Canadian context at least)
This has no merit. Are we talking federal? What part of the industry?
Define “top”.
Objective, researchable ways to define “top”: Revenue? Employee size? Average contract size? Most HC clients in F100?
- arguably, this answer is Big 4 + Accenture
Subjective, non-public knowledge ways to define “top”: Most clients in c-suite? Hardest to get a job at? Most “complex” or “impactful” engagements?
- arguably, this answer is MBB
What about Putnam? Any opinions of their work and position in the healthcare consulting space?
OP, what area do you currently work in?
McKinsey is the leader clinical side of strategy consulting in HC & Deloitte is the leader in digital. It depends on what you are looking at too : payers, providers, life sciences.
