What are the typical exit ops for a newly promoted senior? Senior accountant or accounting manager?

How can I try to get into VC? Particularly tough tech and things like robotics, automation, transportation, etc. I’m currently at T2 consulting in industrials and I’ve tried networking with a few VC firms in this space, but no luck.
