Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Tata Consultancy Infosys Cognizant Wipro I have completed all the technical and HR rounds and salary discussion, documents submission also done. But all of sudden got mail from hr saying that my profile is kept on hold. Any possibility that I will receive offer letter or it will be in hold forever? Meantime can I attend interview for other positions in hcl?

Have you tried taking a look on Glassdoor? Sometimes people leave examples of interview questions they’ve been asked on there. Good luck!
That's a tough one. There are usually videos and other sources of information on interview questions for the top companies, but Tableau is still a relative unknown when it comes to specific interview questions.
Quora has some too: https://www.quora.com/What-are-real-time-Tableau-scenario-based-interview-questions
What round is it?
Made it past the recruiter phase.
I’m an SE, but I remember they also considered me for SA positions too. My first few interviews were mostly situational questions. Salesforce focuses a lot on competencies. So make sure you can speak to the qualifications and provide examples. It’s not a rule, but I find it easy to follow a STAR (situation, task, action, result) method when answering those questions. Prepare for a panel interview using Tableau for the final round.
SE supports pre-sales efforts and SA works on professional services engagements (think enablement and consulting services). SEs make commission (up to 30%) and SAs get performance bonuses paid quarterly. Assuming that sales perform well, I think SEs generally get paid more overall. I like how all the SEs help each other out because our commission is based on a pooled performance for the sector that you work in. SAs get evaluated based on utilization/billed hours I believe and reports to engagement managers.
‘Will you be ok with us continuing to lose business to a product that cost 10x what we cost’ would be good to have answered ;)
