What are typical severance packages for manager and below? Director and above?

I wanted to understand something about remote jobs. I am searching for remote jobs from the US with a salary over 100k USD. I have 11 yrs exp in business analyst and product owner. Do we really get 100k dollars converted to Indian rs like 80 lacs a year and we have to pay tax in India ? What is job security. Any tips. Do we only go for renowned names. Pls help.

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. I’m very interested in the opportunity but also don’t want to make a poor financial decision early in my career. Thank you for your time!

I’m a data engineer/engineering manager by trade and massively screwed up by going into MBB consulting, I absolutely despise it and am looking to leave about 8 months in. I have a great offer from a fortune 50 for product management in tech at a similar salary, way more RSU’s but can’t shake off the thought that I wouldn’t be an engineer anymore. I have three years of experience in agency recruiting and HR. I’m currently making 47k as an HR Coordinator. Why is it recommended you give a company 2 weeks notice when you are leaving but at the same time, when they are laying you off/firing you, they typically do it on the spot. I have known countless people layed off/fired on the spot over the years (especially after busy season) and everyone else when they leave give 2 week notice. Why should we relinquish power to corporations? Corporations really don't care about us. They pretend they do.

Offer includes RSU’s that vest over 4 years for an IPO. 2 questions - if the company never goes public are they worth anything? Base $190k, Signon $90k Y1, $68k Y2, 80 RSU
RSU value is based on $2500/RSU (30 day avg + 15% expected YOY growth). Current Stock price $2.1K
Any advice on negotiation? Interviewer says max range for Atlanta $200k base/$300k TC.

Is $225k base/$350k TC feasible?
