What are ways to improve as a realtor?

One of the most important things to improve is empathy, the real estate agent must know how to connect with his clients.

You must have the ability to talk to the client so that they understand that their home may not be worth as much as they think it is. Also, the buyer may have expectations that are too high for their budget.

A very important aspect that must be improved is customer service, calls and e-mails must be answered quickly. In case of any doubt, it is essential to offer a quick and clear answer.

One way is to continue learning about the industry and keep up with the latest trends. You can also improve your skills by taking continuing education courses. Networking with other professionals in the industry can also help you learn from their experiences and grow your business.

I would say learning to respect and appreciate your customers is one! There are so many realtors who think that buyers are desperate and they start using weird strategies that end up making the client uncomfortable. If you want to be better at being a realtor, the client always comes first.

Need advice on buying my first home. I recently moved to Canada and like living in downtown city vibes. I’m looking for a 2Bed and really confused if putting all my savings and 60% of salary towards mortgage payments for 1.2M condos is worth it. Does it make sense to buy condos with all those monthly fees and live in city or buy a house around GTA for much less ? Which is better from an appreciation and resale point of view ?

I am trying to decide best way to invest about $60K for about 25 years. Should I buy condo ($300K, 10K per year taxes) pay monthly mortgage and rent it out for 25 years and then sell OR invest $60K in an index fund now (S&P, total market, etc.) with monthly contribution equivalent to mortgage and tax (if I were to buy condo to rent) and withdraw at end of 25 years? How would you do the math?

Can someone help me understand why people are pumping crazy money into DoorDash and AirBnb but didn’t go equally Gaga for Palantir?
Don’t get me wrong, I like DD and Airbnb, but the $100+/share seems odd to me given that both are susceptible to regulatory and overall consumer confidence. I was able to buy into PLTR for $11/ share fwiw and think that company has better long-term upside prospects.
But again, would love to better understand the DASH and ABNB mania. Feel like I’m missing something

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently a civil design engineer, and trying to switch to real estate as a Program Manager. I have an interview in a week where they tell me I will have to work on ( for about 3-4 hours ) on an operational case study.

Does anyone here have any case studies in Real estate that they can share ? and if they're from France, that would be even better.

Thank you in advance !
