I did it for four years. Like everything, there’s pros and cons. I really enjoyed it overall!
Cost of living and a good internet connection are seriously cheap in SE Asia. If you’ve got a marketable skill set (coding, GMAT/SAT tutoring etc.) and are willing to move - sure, why not?
That said, you probably won’t be flying business or staying at plush hotels like an influencer / IG model.
What did you live on? Just curious. Or a good place to read more?
Yep — I mean, I used my nomadism to bounce between several major American cities to spend more time with friends and family. Totally awesome.
Sure — just spent time in several cities, working by day and seeing friends and family in those cities in off time.
Like, I probably wouldn’t take a vacation just to see a cousin in Portland, but being a nomad made that really easy.
