I’m tryna leave after 10/15, I’m not even waiting till I make senior lol. However I want to get out of tax
Oh ya, definitely try to finish 10/15 first haha. Meant start the interview process because it may take a few months and you don't want Feb creep'n up. I know from my interviews they always asked about processes you've improved. Also talking up how much you actually were in the financials even though we are in tax. Though for me it seems HR did not understand how I explained Tax adj. and TBs
If you want to be tax director it’s best to stay in big 4 until heavy manager then hop. Big 4 has faster acceleration than industry.
Definitely seems like you gotta do some time at the manager level to get that director level. Thinking of making that B4 hop for that reason
i want to stay in public until i hit manager for the same reason you have discussed but i dont know if i can stay in this toxic environment any additional years
I think my office makes my PA experience particularly sucks. That's why I'm looking to make a jump to another PA but even job searching isn't really exciting knowing PA everywhere will be basically same and suck as hell. trying to have some hope while juggling between job-searching and finishing 10/15. I really dont see myself staying in PA until SM so I think my threshold is until M.
I am in industry. Managers and above are hired via networking in many cases. So I don't think that wait until manager is necessarily true. Just my 2 cents.
