What are you going to do about the vaccine? Can some districts make you get the vaccine or is it optional? I’d also like to know how many of us are looking forward to it and how many think it’s not a good idea for them (due to health concerns or otherwise).

I would take it right now if it was available to me. It will be optional in my district.

Me too. I wish we had sign ups for it like we do the flu shot.

Why not read through either of the two huge posts already on here regarding your question?
I remember at time where this place had less division and more teacher idea sharing and moral support.
I wish this place had actual moderators who would bump repeated posts into the same pile. For another example, non meme posts should get bumped out of the meme sharing forum.

I want to get it but I am going to check with my doctor to make sure I am going to be ok getting it because I am pregnant. Our vaccines get released next week for us teachers (hopefully). Lol I am not “forced” to, but my administration said it would be a good idea. My administration is apart of the age group that is older and more inclined to getting sick, so I would get it for them- ya know, herd immunity. :)

Does anyone struggle with parents who have no knowledge about mental health/illness? My sister is clearly mentally ill and she would throw temper tantrums such as slamming doors at 2 or 4 am, purposely play loud music when everyone’s sleeping, and etc, over very trivial things normal ppl wouldn’t get upset over. She doesnt have any friends since childhood, doesn’t have a job, and lives with my parents. She have seen psychiatrists before but would flush meds after and would refuse to (cont.)

I recently got a promotion in my company to work as a Junior CSR in Commercial Lines but I also got a job offer elsewhere to work in the entertainment insurance industry as an Associate. I got the RIBO license in January. The job offer pays more than my promotion but once I told my manager I had this offer she said they are willing to match that offer, however I wouldn’t see an increase in salary for a while. I don’t know what to do because both jobs sound really interesting. Any advice?

Hi, All - Looking for some Healthcare/Life sciences Partners who can share their perspective on Syneos Health Consulting - how is it viewed in the marketplace as a brand? Is it a viable competitor?

My amazing boss is leaving. They have been a champion for me and the best leader I’ve ever had. I am devastated. I’ve usually had ok to not great managers so have never experienced this feeling before. It’s like im going through the stages of grief. Having a great leader has been like oxygen. The difference for my mental health is like night and day. I remember how my life was when I had a not great manager and I just can’t go back to that. Any words of wisdom or advice? I feel lost and alone.

What are some of the worst investing choices you've made? I want to learn from mistakes. Both action and inaction.

Examples (not applicable to me):

Action - Bought ARKK, sold during covid crash and bought back in higher, buying whole life insurance

Inaction - Didn't invest back in 2008, not funding your 401k

Anyone using the EY Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance for counselling? Did you have to pay anything out of pocket?
