I recently got hooked on knit jackets and sweater sets. Dressy enough but comfortable. I bought a cashmere sweater “blazer” that’s worth every penny I paid for it. Paired with a colorful blouse or even a T-shirt it works well and I’m comfy but don’t feel underdressed.
Sounds cute!! Where’d you find it?
I’m definitely in the somewhat oversized sweater, straight pants, suade/leather ankle boot group. Otherwise I’d just wear a dress and sandals. Dresses are mixed of maxi dress and form fitting suit dresses
I roll in with outfits from la double J. Hot pink blazers and all (Maje). I am very colorful and I own it.
Zara has a loooy of colorful office options!
Silk shirts with pants/skirt and no blazer. I have a lot of just white/blue ones but mix it up with some subtle patterns or muted florals from time to time
Target’s “A New Day” line has some really great High-rise pants for the office. I have 5 pairs of their Bi-Stretch ankle pants. Looking into their relaxed options now and they’re fun and super cute!
I like to play around with the patterns or texture of the blazer so it is still office appropriate but with a little more pizzazz
Accessorizing with silk scarves is also a look I’ve been looking to replicate as well
I also purchased some simple T-shirt’s from Uniqlo & have been dressing them up with funky shoes, I think the key is adding subtle personality to your outfit
I’m still interested in Rent the Runway. Also have been combing Macys and Dilliard’s site for deals.
I bought a lot of colorful and bright business casual things from SHEIN. You just need to read the reviews before you buy. We can wear jeans at our office though.

I am looking for a cap sleeve shift dress in navy that’s no more than 35 inch long and machine washable, any recommendations?
Def check the Calvin Klein options on macys. It seems lower budget, but his dresses are great for work. And easy.
One thing that I want to get into that I’ve been seeing around is the polo cashmere sweater, something similar to this vibe is what I’m trying to get to soon, I don’t usually wear big belts though
It’s still warm in the south, so I’ve been wearing A-line dresses with fabric belts. I still stay pretty neutral in color (black, blue, camel, cream), but play with patterns or shapes (sear-sucker shirt dress, black dress with a subtle ruffle detail). Or cropped pants with a short-sleeve top and a patterned scarf. I work part time office, part time at home with a few video meetings per week, so I feel like a pretty scarf or pearl necklace help send the message on video that I put some thought into my outfit. I rarely wear blazers anymore since there is no specific dress code in my office and people have been generally much more casually dressed in my office these days.
Betabrand suits and separates. Professional looking, super comfortable, great colors.
Ann Taylor has some nice suiting separates and dresses in a variety of interesting colors. Karen Millen is another great website too
