Because Internet by Gretchen McCulloch
If you internet, and you write, it's a good read.
There There by Tommy Orange for my book club. Herding Tigers by Todd Henry has been staring me down from my bedside table for months.
Neuromancer. I like how Gibson creates such vivid worlds with taught, direct language and little exposition. When there is exposition it’s used to set a mood. He trusts the reader to build his world in their head on their own.
Just finished Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado. Excellent collection of stories.
The Fugitive Game by Jonathan Littman
Recently finished A Blade So Black by LL McKinney. Currently reading Congratulations, Who Are You Again by Harrison Scott Key.
Recursion by Blake Crouch.
American Predator by Maureen Callahan. IDK, maybe skip it, it’s nonfiction pretty scary / graphic
Just finished My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh. Just started Trick Mirror by Jia Tolentino.
Maybe we both just have great taste! Next up is Fleishman is in Trouble?
September edition of Poetry Magazine, "New Oxford Guide to Writing" by Thomas Kane (it's been a couple years) and everyone's favorite read, "Medicare and You"
