What are you telling your employees about the payroll tax deferral? I’m hesitant to communicate anything because the information has been vague. After reviewing SHRM's document (linked in comments) it seems best to just opt out and share that with the company. What have you all shared with your teams, if anything, about it?

We're opting out.

I am not aware of a single company opting into this hot mess. We have communicated individually with employees inquiring, but opting out of mass communication.

Hi fishes,
I just browsed through this bowl and it seems I've replied to the HR's mail with an expected CTC way lower than the market trend.
YOE - 9.1
Stack - IT/Network
Current - 7.5LPA
Expected - 18LPA (mentioned this in my reply to their mail along with all the docs).
Should I've asked for more? Or will my current CTC hold me back? Should I drop another mail?
Which designation should I go for? I can see guys getting AVP at this xp but I'm looking for B3 for ease of getting the next promotion.

Calling all ID Associates: Do you expect a cost of living raise from one year to the next? My mid-size ID firm did not give any associate raises for 2021-2022 and a wave of associates quit in response. I’m anxious 2023 will be no different. What’s the expectation?

Any advice on getting your foot in the door in the Big 4 companies or the like, ie: PwC, Deloitte, etc. I feel like I have the perfect experience for some of these posted roles but the online application process is a black hole. I’ve seen my resume ‘in review’ for 6+ months or more. Do people only get interviewed for these roles through networking?

I’ve been with my organization a little over a year and we’ve had major transitions and turnover that took me from starting as a recruiter coordinator to a hr generalist, and now an interim hr manager. I have a masters degree in industrial organizational psychology and while I am new to HR have professional work experience in other fields-military, teacher, training specialist. I love what I do. Should I apply for the hr manager position with only a year of hr work history? Do I have a chance?
