I've been told I should just be thankful to have a job.

likefunnysmart

@EY1 you should. Not having a job is a very stressful experience. I happened to me and I learned to appreciate so much having a job and the simple things. If you are not happy and grateful with what you have now, you won't be happier with more either.

Hi ladies! An old chestnut but would still love to hear your advice: i am fairly certain a key senior stakeholder is being difficult because he perceives me as a senior non white woman trying to boss him around. I have heard that he doesn’t like to surround himself with people cleverer than him in fear of them taking over his job, which to me further confirms this is a possibility. What can/should I do? TIA!
