“I’d like to finish that thought/sentence. “.

Thanks! I'm usually so annoyed that I avoid eye contact so that I don't let them see that they got to me. I'll have to work on that.

I just keep talking.

And what kind of results do you her with that?

“Let me finish”

Excuse me, I’m not finished.

I raise my voice and say “almost done” and keep going. Sometimes they (usually male) keep talking and I’ll continue until my point is done.

Depends on tone of conversation, nice situations where I know the interruption is not malicious: " I see, or thanks but back to what i was saying or wait before we start on that, let me finish my point blah blah" difficult or aggressive interruption meant to overtake, strong Excuse Me if I may finish.....long power pause, I say it (interrupting) until that person concedes,:-).. followed by a thank you...
Then I carry on until I sm done.

Just say “let me finish”. Interrupting is disrespectful, and if you stick to your train of thought and request to finish, others will also want to hear what you have to say.

Let them finish. Look at them pause say anything else than say as I was saying...

I've recently taken over managing the hiring process for the complex lit/mass tort section of my firm, and am wondering what platforms you'd be most likely to use as a paralegal to find a new position? Currently looking at Indeed & Robert Half, but want to make sure I'm casting a wide net to find the best candidates.

Hi all! I am trying to start up a private practice for acupuncture, and I hope to be able to grow over the next couple years into a wellness center. I have been looking for rental space in Denver thats around 500 sqft but the few places I find are already off the market by the time I schedule a tour :(

Does anyone know of any rental spaces or have any recommendations on how to find something? I’ve contacted real estate agents and was basically told to just look on loopnet myself

Need a level headed take on this— what is up with pharr rd? I saw a apartment complex on that street that looks really nice on the outside and the inside but I keep reading that pharr is “”sketchy”” which doesn’t seem to jive with my impression of it. Not trying to come off stupid or sheltered, but im from Wisconsin lol so I don’t have a good gauge for such things

Sorry if this isn't relevant to this bowl. I have PCOS and was on birth control pills for 3 years. I got off it and we started trying right away. It's been 50 days and I didn't have my period. I was certain we got lucky and this morning the pregnancy test was negative. I had my hopes up too much and this test result hurt me more than I expected. I started feeling guilty about my weight, prioritizing my career and felt really disappointed. I know it's early and we can still try but it hurts 😞
