What are your companies guidelines/policies for COVID vaccinations & masking requirements?

We just announced our policy to employees
1. Vaccinations are not mandatory
2. Employees who are not vaccinated need to wear masks
3. Vaccinated employees can choose to wear a mask if they prefer

We are asking employees to come into the office one day per week.

We're releasing the mask mandate next week. If you want to wear one you obviously can and won't be judged (I hope). Everyone either got vaccinated or fired when the first mandate came out so we're all good on that front.

In a college workplace. We've had very, very strict guidelines in place, but we're going to be coming off the mask mandate this month. We'll still need to show vaccination wherever we go, though.

I love this flexibility your company is offering. It really is accommodating for all. I work with the government, so the vaccine is still mandatory for everyone.

like

Vaccinations are mandatory. If you don't get one you have to wear a mask the whole time you are in the office. They won't hire you if you don't agree to one of the two terms. If you are vaccinated, masks are optional.

like

Vaccinations not mandatory, masks are not mandatory for any status, but of course you can wear one if you want. (policy for testing positive get more detailed)

like

Vaccinations are mandatory, masks are optional.

Company currently has stricter policy to be in office or at events.

What are doing if someone gets COVID-19 positive test result? I am curious if you are adjusting the policy for that too?

Had an interesting conversation, what do you all think? In a post Covid agency structure, do we still need account management? If the clients speak to their creative directors , and the creative directors are able to understand the business problems and not be petulant about ideas the clients don’t like, then the AE etc can go away. That would leave the agency with the people who create the ideas, and strategy who comes up with a plan. Think of the money the agency would saveWhat do you think?

Optum compensation is very low, we received 3% to 10% in my team irrespective of rating 3-5.

Our team couldn't hire a manager for the whole damn year.

I've been working here for past 1 year. Don't join Optum Global Solutions.

When I joined OGS during COVID, I was asked to collect laptop from office, on my own expenses.

No welcome gifts either.

Waiting to resign after 31st March else they won't pay my performance bonus as well.

So someone I know asked HR about a boot policy. When he found out that there wasn’t one, but his boss said there was (who gave the guys $ for boots and the claimed it on his expense reimbursements as something else) the boss got mad at him for askingHR (and in trouble for the expense reimbursements) and then 2 days later laid off my friend. There appears to be no notice of bad performance and this person always was the first person on the job site ready to work. Thoughts?

I left a 6 month fixed contract job. I decided not to extend my contract so didn’t sign the renewal contract. However, recently the HR has emailed me that I didn’t give the company 1 month notice and thus, they have the right to decline providing any future employee reference. I don’t think I broke any rules since I didn’t sign the renewal contract (sent only a week before termination date) and worked till my termination date. Is this legal for them to decline future reference due to this?

I'm seeing salaries for senior recruiters,5 years experience, averaging $120 - 135k. I'll be honest, this has popped the lid on my budget.
