What are your favorite golf clothing brands? My boyfriend is obsessed with golf, just joined a country club and has expressed a desire for me to golf with him more so figure it’s time I start expanding my golf wardrobe!

How big of a deal is it to have massive chunks of your time written off? I’m a first year in finance (started in January) and just reviewed an invoice where probably 50% of my time was written off. Kinda worried. I don’t think I’m exceptionally slow but I do take my time when possible to make sure I’m doing things correctly.

Recent new hire here.. is there a way to see your specific level within your rank (e.g. senior 1 vs. senior 2)? Or is this something to ask HR? There wasn’t any indication during the hiring process unless it could be inferred by salary. Thanks!

Anyone wear allbirds with a suit for travel? Don’t want to pull off the airport bathroom change, but don’t want to wear my dress shoes either. I’d hate to end up in the people of the airport bowl lol

Anyone have leads on a live in or live out nanny in the Columbia/Ellicott City/Howard County, MD area? Two kids, a 4yo and a 4mo. Looking for someone to start next summer/fall so could work nicely if there are any families who will be aging out as their kids start school.

Anyone use a specific software/app to extract text messages? If so, any recommendations?

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Final round this week with a hiring manager I initially met during an internship 3 years ago, but was on a different team. Pretty nervous considering that I had a terrible experience during my internship as a result of having a toxic relationship with my manager at the time. I’m almost certain she talked shit about me once I left, and concerned this hiring manager at the new company knows about that. Any thoughts on how I should play this if asked about my time at the previous company? 😒

I just realized people with MBAs don’t really know things…worked with an AC without a MBA vs a C with a MBA.

The former was acting as a mentor and the latter needed help aligning boxes. What is going on here 💀 pls fix

Anyone work at Scale AI? Can you provide insight as to how technical you have to be as an engagement manager? Also, what is the base salary range for this role? On Glassdoor salaries look high, but it seems to be a support/customer success role which usually pay is low. TIA!!
