Has anyone ever received a 100% counter offer from Deloitte? I got an offer with base increase of 30% and project PMD is making an effort to match it. Is it advisable to listen to counter offer or tell them I have made my mind to leave
Hi Fishes, I have 2 yoe experience in a copy paste project in TCS. I have interest in Big Data and Cloud Computing. But I lack the roadmap to become a BigData Engineer. If anyone can advise me...I would be really grateful to you🙏🏾 Thank you🥺
Accenture 🐠, can you help explain the different roles and their typical seniority levels? - Client Account Lead - Client Group Lead - Market Unit Lead - Senior Client Executive I would expect a CAL manages an account relationship and report into a MUL, but I see there are a few aligned to geographies. Just trying to understand the organisation structure better. Thanks.
Folks whose h1 was picked in lottery, hav ur lawyers submitted documents to uscis. What documents they need frm client and frm u. What is last date to submit. Mine got picked but no word from lawyers
Was supposed to be on this project until March. Client just decided to get rid of our workstream today and now rolling off tomorrow. Absolute shittiest time to be on the bench :(
Made a project plan based on a previous merger they provided and changed the names to match the current merger. Scheduled meetings on a weekly basis. Took notes in meetings. Never spoke to client. Played video games the rest of the time. Apparently I'm the best consultant ever according the client feedback to ppmd. They also recommended me for promotion to manager for "being extremely diligent and hardworking". Why can't projects/clients like these be the ones that get multiple phases?!!
3 months into a 6 month internal project. I proactively scheduled a feedback session with the “big boss”/key stakeholder tomorrow (I have weekly check-ins with my day to day lead weekly), and I am terrified. They are highly critical and can come off as abrasive, and any ad-hoc feedback I receive makes me feel like I’m never good enough. I’m expecting to have darts thrown at me and want to curl up in a ball and cry after... any advice? Just didn’t want to be blindsided at the end of the project.
Consulting 🐠 - client is blaming me for their poor performance and starting to escalate their own errors as mine among my home office pm Any advice on how to manage perception internally?
Deloitte got pulled into a project with a manager I’ve gotten to know recently but I really am not interested in the project and it’s very different from my past project experiences. I think they picked me because they know me and the timing works out well. I don’t want to burn bridges by saying no to the project esp when they really need someone right now but I also have no desire to work on this for the next couple of weeks. Should I just suck it up or how do I go about this?

How bad is driving in the winter in Michigan? I’m looking to take on an 18 months project on the western side and considering staying at East Grand Rapids. My commute each way would be about an hour.
I’m preparing to put my two weeks in at work. I’m not worried about leaving the company, but I’m nervous about leaving my team while we’re knee-deep in a project. I’ll be around for shooting and early editing our commercial (which is the bulk of the campaign), and I’m definitely able to hand off other small tasks, but I can’t help but feel anxious to tell them I’m leaving. Is this a normal feeling?
Boss is cool giving me some minor additional responsibilities on projects (delegating to other creatives, leading client presentations). How can I parlay this into a promotion to Senior AD? Or ACD?
Do I need to be a top performer to get hired client side/tech/etc. as a creative (copywriter)? My book really isn’t anything special but also wouldn’t mind looking outside the agency world.
I fired my largest client today. 🙀 Sometimes it just isn't a good fit. It has to be a fit for not only my client but also for my agency. We're selective about the work we take on because relationships do matter, and strong relationships = better results. Today was liberating. What a breath of fresh air. We are accepting new clients for everything marketing related including graphic design, website design and development, SEO, digital campaigns, product photography, and video production.
Trying to boomerang back to PwC PEVC / Deals Strategy, previously worked in tech consulting, which I didn’t enjoy, and currently am at a boutique focused on operations strategy with rare opportunities to get involved in one-off CDD/ODD projects. I have done one CDD project, and I enjoyed focus and grind. Is anyone willing to discuss bringing me back? I kind of miss PwC lol
Was asked to take on an intern on my job that I’m already behind schedule on (bc of client). already have a 1st year staff that is completely bombarding me with questions. How do i (politely?) say no?
A huge project of mine died a year back, and I just saw the exact idea on adweek. My coworker who was on the project took it to a new agency and made the identical spot. Is there anything I can do? Is this just part of the industry? I’m fucking livid
Received a job offer to go client side the day I found out I am pregnant again. I know I qualify for mat leave, but am unsure if I tell them before I start. I have a history of first trimester loss.
Skype for business.... Why must you suck....

Thoughts on selecting the Russell 1000 index fund for my 401k? Expense ratio of 0.01%. I was considering the target date fund, but I’m 25 and don’t really want any bonds atm.
My SO has been a pot smoker for nearly 20 years. He's smoked nearly daily since he started in college, sometimes multiple times a day. I've always had issues with it, but since he was high functioning I didn't mind it too much until we recently had a child together. After baby was born, he continues to smoke multiple times a day and didn't have a problem with his family smoking in the house until I called him out and got into a huge fight. Considering buying one of those «sit/stand desk converters». Any recommendations? https://www.vivo-us.com/collections/manual-desk-risers/products/desk-v000k Is it too late, or do we think WFH will last for a long while still, or will WFH 2-3 days a week become expected.
