I just got a promotion, with title and raise, largely same responsibility. How does this affect my prevailing wage that was field a few months ago?

I have an H1B which is due for extension in a year. I am planning to quit my job to go to India and come back in 3 years. I learnt that the H1B clock gets paused when you stop working in the US. However, where does my H1B live in the meanwhile? With my current employer? USCIS?

When I come back and find a job, from where do I get my H1B transferred to my new employer?

Hi, I have 6 yrs of experience in P2P process and performing as a backup lead currently my package is 3.86pa, I planned to move IT so choose Data Science and completed when I asked to HR he said data science freshers not hired in TCS if you want move to IT do DBA sql will move to IT and for 1 yr tha package will not change after 2 yrs you can try out side and show total of 8yrs experience in DBA then you will get double the package. Is it right decision for me to take IT opportunity?
