How much programming language is important for a QA Engineer..

Need your inputs, I have experience in Java Automation for past 2 years.. now my yet join company is using Ruby for Automation. Not a big deal in learning about ruby. Only worried about that if I continue here, in process of learning ruby I might have unlearn java. If I need to come out then openings on Automation with ruby in the market is pretty much less I think..

I got an offer from a competitor has really interesting project but the overall comp is less than $10k than my current role. The manager is nice but they can’t up the comp much further.

I have a formula that returns a value of any cell in that row is blank otherwise it says error. However I only want the formula to apply if any of the cells in the row are populated. Help?

While de-escalating a situation or dealing with a child having an outburst I tend to notice outside coworkers coming in my room to offer help or just check in. I find this doesn’t help it actually makes the situation worse. Would it be rude of me to send out an email asking them not to interrupt since it can make the situation work. I know most of the time it’s cause they are being nosy.

How are people handling situations where their students have become so depressed, they aren’t virtually attending class anymore?

Canvas Question: Does anyone know if it is possible to look at a student’s grades in all of their classes on one page without having to go into each one individually and check out the grade section? Some of my ideas included:
Work on incomplete classwork or homework, work on goals, study for test and quizzes, work on projects, goal setting for the next semester, organize google classroom assignments or practice for the state exams. If they are other ideas I would love to hear them! Thanks everyone

Looking for resources for dyslexia students K-5

I have been teaching students with special needs for 21 years now. The class size used to be 12:1. Now it’s 15:1, but you can have up to 18 students with the variance. Now my Principal said that you can have up to 19 students!!!! Is anyone else noticing that the self contained class is getting larger?

Hi SpEd Teachers, is anyone else facing EXTREME staff shortages as a result of state funding? We are not able to meet my students' IEP requirements (not even close) due to not enough paraprofessionals and the district flat out refusing to hire more. I've lost 70+ hrs/week of para hours over the past few years and my students are really suffering. This leaves our district open to lawsuits, but the real problem is the state's education budget. What can we do?? This isn't going to fix itself.

I am working with a self contained student to learn his sight words. We are using Snap Words and I am excited about his progress. But when we go to share his success the other teacher says " He can't do that. He doesn't even know the letter names." Right in front of him. It broke my heart for him. I have data that shows he does know his letters and sounds and can identify 14 of his sight words, but the teacher doesn't believe in him or what I tell her. It makes me feel so discouraged.

I work with kiddos that have multiple disabilities K-6. Our district is doing distance learning. Yup, computer learning for students who may or may not be able to see, walk or talk. I was wondering what other teachers are doing for their kids who are in this situation?

What are your thoughts about the special education system separating EBD into Emotional Disorder and Behavior Disorders? Then putting more emphasis on licensure for Emotional with mental health, Anxiety, and ADHD?

Any ideas for inclusion for high school kids with severe autism and intellectual disability? PE is the only time that students are with typical kids.
