Hotels with massive groups of non-business conventions, e.g. the furries convention (I kid you not, look up furries if you don't know what it is), or the Baptist Home Schooling convention. I can't even figure out which one of those two conventions were more disruptive.
All these are valid points. Going to add: mini bar check, especially in European countries. "Housekeeping..." 1 second later barging in. You didn't give me a chance! Not having body wash. Assuming that I always want the points as my platinum amenity. I like to be asked. At this point though, them "messing up" is an opportunity for me to get points though...way faster than actual dollar spend. Haha.
Inaccessible plugs or not plugs near the bed. Especially in hotels that were obviously recently renovated. Like why wouldn't you add a crap ton of plugs near the bed in your remodel?
Telling me meaningless information when I'm checking in. A just want my damn key as fast as possible.
Bed bugs
When they make shapes out of the tissues in the tissue box. Like quit touching the tissues.
I hate when there isn't enough counter space in the bathroom. If you have females staying in your hotel, they will need some place to put their make up and no one wants to put it on top of the toilet.
Not having body wash and complete set of tolietries
When they use two flat sheets to make your bed and you have to remake the bed when you pull the top sheet free...
Inadequate air conditioning which they don't admit they have complete knowledge of and are not fixing.
No automatic email receipts morning of departure.
Another one: no water pressure in the shower. I'm a woman and it's a PITA to rinse conditioner out of my hair. And why don't hotels have shower wands so we can easily rinse - um - everywhere?
Painfully slow elevators.
No mobile check in; key cards always de-magnetizing; room service order always wrong;check in taking forever; elevator requiring room key swipe; unclean room; noisy radiator; no bottled water; wifi not working

I hate when SPG says they'll email the folio to you but don't. This happens about 25% of the time. At least with Marriott you can login to your account and download the folio. But with SPG I actually have to call them and ask for the re-email.
Wait - you can download your receipt from Marriott.com? This changes everything.
When they restore the room to standard instead of leaving it the way *I* like it. I want my trash can where I want it. I don't want your marketing literature tucked in my bed every night.
Also, I hate when they give me a room at the end of hallways and having to walk a mile long hallway just to get there
No wifi, shitty tv's, noisy outside the room, and bad gyms.
Mobile check in is a farce. Saves no time and has even taken me longer to check in when I have done it. Plus, you are more likely to get a shittier room.
