Usually life happens, targets rarely work or matter. I had targets too, realised the only purpose they served was to make me look silly
Agree with PC1 but would say it’s good to have targets though they shouldn’t be the whole purpose. They’re good to have as something to work towards to but if life has other plans that shouldn’t shatter one.
I might behind most people as I started outside UK, at 22 I was offered 2.7k and now in mid 30s I am at 90k. Frankly speaking no targets, I am just grateful that hardwork is paying off although it is taking time. I don't have a lot of hunger for more money hence I will be fine with whatever and wherever I reach.
100K at least by 30
Do you have a plan to get there?

First a liar and now bad health? Arm chair experts everyone? It's a bank holiday, take a break..
20k at 25 (quit my previous job to move to the UK to do a Masters then internship after), 38k at 26, now 66k at 28, have a good plan to hopefully hit 100k at 30.
25 on £55k, hoping to get to over £100k before I’m 30 incl. an exit to MBB :)

Perhaps a more ‘average’ progression but, 30k at 23 (straight from uni), 48 at 25, aiming for 80-90 by 30 and then 100k early 30s..
85-90K by 30 (started working later because of a masters and looking for the right role, so hence a adjusted target)

I’m 23 on 45k. 25, 65k and hope, 27 £80k and by 30, 100k
Very possible.
My target was always 100k base by 30, which I hit, barely.
New target is ACN MD by 35. Will be tight but is doable with a fair wind.
As you rightly pointed out previously, the bands are very broad

Currently 24 on 80 (job title is old)
I’m contemplating an executive MBA in a few years to avoid the degree issue, but it’s a pretty expensive way of getting round it!
I’m hoping when/if I make director my experience will mitigate the lack of degree, but I will have to see!
I don’t think the whole apprenticeship & lack of degree think is very popular yet so it’s really hard to tell
28 and on £65k, hoping to get up to £90k by 30 but will need to find an exit out of D to do it.

Is this all base or TC?
No, I think meaningless because everyone’s bonus could vary significantly or comp could be structured differently. Historic actual total comp makes more sense for comparison, only difference is cash flow. The current year stated will be an estimate.

Graduate at 21 and do 2 years consulting. Lateral to banking analyst and promote in 1 year. Banking TC at associate is around £100k base + 100% bonus. Possible to make VP in 2-3 years which would take you to close to £350k TC by 27.
UK - 70k by 30.
Including a fully flexible role (work pattern, work abroad x time, and office when I want to).
Started with no GCSE 18 at 16k, now 26 at 42k
