I find myself tethered to my desk much longer when I wfh and am losing work-life balance. How can I politely cut people off to make sure I get my home PT done?
Can I see someone’s daily “routine”? Im a first year, and I’m having a hard time staying healthy and in shape when I’m working 10-15 hours/day. I miss working out all the time, and I want to prevent burnout. We have a 2000 billable req/year. Thanks!
I am looking for a senior role in financial services operational risk, controls management, preferably remote, but am open to travel for 20% to on-site or at hq. Any viable leads?
Looking for hybrid or remote work. Employment law or civil litigation. Does anyone know of any in CA? Bay Area.
Anyone know of remote or Chicago based UI UX jobs that are open to hiring entry level designers?
Design question for my work from home ladies - how did you decorate around a standing desk, large monitors, etc? I find that with a large monitor there’s not so much I can put on the wall without having the monitor partially cover it - especially when the desk moves. I don’t mind if the decor is covered when I’m using it standing, but want it to look nice when it’s lower down. Also find that with the monitor/laptop another square on the wall is too much of the same shape - any inspiration?
Can we start naming firms that are expecting associates to go back to the office five days a week with no wfh flexibility? And which firms are allowing associates to wfh with more flexibility post-pandemic? I hoped there would be a change to the general biglaw face time requirement but seems like some firms are going right back to 2019 standards.
Thinking of taking this remote work opportunity and relocating to Hawaii (never been) for a month as my current lease is ending. Would love recommendations on 1. Am I crazy to want to do this 2. What island is preferred or island hopping 3. Issues with internet / groceries 4. Airbnb alternative? I know this isn't a points related topic, but I think of this place as my travel recommendation source as well!
Been offered a new position with another company recently, paying about $15,000 more per year. The job advertisement has stated that it’s a ghd rod work from home/office role which is handy and very similar to what my current company is allowing us to do. However the contract has nothing in it stating working home is even an option. With fuel prices the way they are at the moment, plus mileage on my car, the fortnightly raise is only equivalent to approx $140 per week. Is it worth it?
If anyone has an interest in moving to an environmental group of a market paying firm that has great people and flexible wfh arrangements let me know! My firm is hiring :)
Anyone have any tips on finding a fully remote position? Looking into securing a remote job. I hate the idea of going into the office.
I feel like my relationship with my boss has grown more distant during WFH. I'd love to get some feedback on how to maintain communication in a remote setting.
Curious to hear from other HR people - would you support your company moving to a fully-remote situation? Or do you think it's critical people come to the office?
Are there any open positions for associates? I am a recent grad and have 1 year of ERP consulting experience (based in FL, but work remote). I am open to any role and would love suggestions. Thanks!
Do any of you freelancers in CO live in Fort Collins? I’m a writer who recently moved to FC from NYC. I’m getting remote jobs, and it would be great to have an AD partner nearby to brainstorm with.
What are the best completely remote, part time or full time, non-clinical healthcare jobs organizations are promoting right now? I currently work in quality and safety.
Hi all👋 - Hopefully it’s ok to post here. If you are looking for a new UX design gig in 2021, let me know. I’m looking for senior IC leads on my team at Google, player-coach role, who can lead a massively impactful area while guiding 3-4 junior designers. Opportunity to manage them in the future. The product is an enterprise crm product, location will be in Mountain View after the world gets back to normal! So no permanent remote work unfortunately. Thanks for your consideration! 🙏

I was hired out of my MBA to a firm that has now pushed my start date out 90 days twice since Covid. Am I doomed? Are any consulting firms are hiring right now?
I kind of threw my team member under the bus but it totally backfired in my face. I have been looking for a new job and can’t get out fast enough...
Anybody doing a mile run this month to try to get to the next airline tier status? If so do you think is worth it?
I moved to industry and I miss is access to virtually unlimited resources (research, workshops, templates, etc.). I’m in search of a good resource for compelling templates. Anyone know a good source?
Started working with a realtor for purchasing my next home. The realtor I started working with is independent and I never signed any agreement to work with him. Over the past 4 months, he’s only recommended 1 property for us to look at. How would you approach getting rid of him? He’s a nice guy and I want to be respectful, but he just hasn’t done much for us even after we’ve told him we want him reaching out more frequently with new listings.
i want to quit consulting and go back to a meaningful job... that's what this launch is making me feel rn
Are any of you guys concerned about having or starting a side hustle and how that would conflict contractually against your employment contracts? At least my contract says I need to devote 100% of my working attention to PwC, or something that like. Thanks in advance!
Nothing I hate more than my manager pinging me “how’s it going” at 1 in the morning. Like this isn’t a booty call
Feeling bad about myself after hearing about my friends’ siblings getting into Ivies (I ended up going to a state school). A lot of my identity is tied to being a high achiever, and I felt like a huge disappointment when I didn’t get into a single top tier school I had applied to like everybody in our circle expected me to. Today is bringing back all those feelings of inadequacy. How do i stop feeling like this and just be happy for these kids?
I do not care anymore.
I need my passport expedited ASAP! I’m leaving for a trip on Monday and have been trying to get it expedited for the past month with no luck! Any tips?!
