I commenced international remote working to be closer to my friends and family, but now as my team's office is about to reopen, I'm missing the idea of commuting and the sense of community in being part of the 9am rush hour. Are there any other easy ways of building a sense of community? Cheers!
I’ve been getting left out of or forgotten from a few meeting invites and links to imp. things such as remote shoot viewings. Today was the 5th time it happened this year. I know I shouldn’t think of it much, but it does bring me really down and makes me feel like I’m invisible + less capable than my partner. My white male creative partner has never been left out of one. It doesn’t help that I’m an introverted woman of color who is less vocal. Has this happened to you? How did you overcome it?
TikTok or Cepheid Biotech Hey guys, I need to make a decision today on whether I want to start a career as a Talent Sourcer at TikTok or as a Onboarding Specialist at Cepheid, a Biotechnology company. Both in the Bay Area at $35 per hour and both are currently WFH. The TikTok position is less stable and very numbers driven, while the Onboarding position is more “secure” but less exciting. I am overthinking the fact that I would need to be presenting orientations for hours a day, and could be shy
Anyone interested in working at an integrated health network and payer for the internal consulting group? Targeting engagement managers and senior managers. Great work life balance and open to remote. Send me a message!
How is your company dealing with Covid. (Please no arguing but I’m curious) Our company is making Vaxxed people come into the office but non vaccinated are required to wfh.… I support choice of vaccination or not and this isn’t a post trying to lean to any side. But I’m more confused as this feels like punishment for getting the vaccine while those who chose not too are allowed to wfh during the holiday season. Our company is required all vaccinated people to come in 3x a week but those who
Deal sleds. Since we’re not wearing suits again, should we be going casual? I’ve been thinking about my post-WFH attire.
New associate and our firm is slowly returning to the office. I really like my work from home setup that includes an ultra wide monitor and a another monitor in portrait mode. Would it be frowned upon to replicate this in my office?
Has anyone stayed in Federal consulting outside of the DC area? Fully remote? Just Curious if it is possible.

How is The Martin Agency post-WFH? Heard lots of great things about it in the recent past, but curious since it seems like everywhere went downhill after the pandemic.
I went back to the office this month (3/4 days per week) and it’s been a positive experience. Plus it seems that some partners who are going in appreciated it. But the office is a 15 min drive away for me. Some people need to commute an hour plus to be there. Will they be at a disadvantage if they actually try to take advantage of hybrid WFH in the future?
Employer is in Nyc but I work from home in NJ. Would I save on taxes if I transferred to a Nj office?
My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
Does anyone know of any DC area agencies are embracing full-time remote/hybrid right now?
I feel for the jr’s who have started their careers in this remote world, missing out on all the experience that comes with being in an office surrounded by people and creative work instead of the silo of WFH. Any suggestions on how to keep them engaged and learning without it feeling forced with zoom tutorial sessions?

Can we submit multiple invoice bills for work from home reimbursement? I bought 3 items from Amazon and got three invoices. Please confirm.
Does anyone know if Duff & Phelps (now Kroll) is work from home or in the office (Atlanta location)? What is the breakdown between time in office and WFH?
Anyone have a link for interview questions for someone interviewing at a mbb firm from big 4 advisory? If you don't have a link posting a question you think I should be prepared for is appreciated
Do you list your dates of education on your resume? Especially for part-time mba in progress
Why does everything have to a be a dick measuring contest? It's like every time I show anything to the client they become auditors for menial "mistakes"
Ladies, I have a dilemma. I know the choice is ultimately mine, but I wanted some input. I met my current boyfriend through my cousin and he lives in Chicago. The plan was for me to move to Chicago in the next couple of months. I planned on just continuing my job with PwC. However, I was applying for jobs in NYC and just received and offer for a company I’ve always wanted to work for. I feel like I’m going to have to make a choice between my job and my relationship. What would you do?
Was it hard for you to adjust when going from multiple years of consulting (culture, environment, peers) to industry (laid back, "soft" for lack of a better word, more indirect than direct) What helped you make the move?

Could someone clarify what to expect in a Google RRK interview? Should I expect mainly behavioural/ traditional interview questions? Or would there be open-end questions requiring a framework?

Talk to me about Slalom... how's the DC office?
Hope you’re having a good weekend! Ok ciao.
When you and your manager randomly geek out about VR over Skype instead of finishing up a deliverable - Friday's, am I right? 😎
Hello! I found a role in PwC as an HRT & Optimization that I'd love to apply for. Would anyone be willing to refer / share their experiences? Happy to send and go through my resume!
Listened to a podcast where the guy admitted he would hang out with girls so that he wouldn’t lose out on future sex, even if he had 0 interest in a relationship with her. I thought spending time outside of hooking up was a good sign they were interested in something romantic (going out to dinners, meeting friends, beach days, etc.), so now my head is all confused on how to trust someone’s intentions, even when they’re backed with actions.
Many in my Exec program are hyper grade focused. Do grades matter that much post Exec MBA for future job opps at all? My approach has been to balance academics with relationship building and practicing exec presence and for me, pivoting to a new industry
