How do we convince company leaders that remote work is productive? A lot of them might be on the fence because *they’re* not personally productive. How do we encourage more WFH days when this is over?
Can (Should) we all as employees decide that we don't want to get back to offices 5 days as week post this COVID19 fiasco is done and dusted.? What's the point? If we are able to deliver results, work and progress from home, then why do we need to be shackled back into the monolithic corporate systemic enslavement? Maybe stick with 1 or 2 days of office for Important F2F meeting, with rest WFH?
Does ZS allow remote work? Are employees being asked to return to the office anytime soon?
I find myself tethered to my desk much longer when I wfh and am losing work-life balance. How can I politely cut people off to make sure I get my home PT done?

I recently transitioned from Finance to Internal Audit. While I think this job is perfect for what I want during this stage of my career I feel like theres a stigma. Like this holiday during family zoom calls I'll tell relatives I stwrted a new job during WFH and when I mention it is Internal Audit I get mildly disgusted looks or "oh boy, I hate auditors" responses. Since the holiday season is almost over can you share how you respond to that? Or do you tell people you work "in compliance"?
I’m thinking about making a move from NYC to London. How do I meet new people/make friends now that work is mostly WFH? I visited London last fall and fell in love
Looking for a Paid Search person interested in branching out across all paid (social, display, CTV, etc). 3-5 YOE. Small agency, lots of hats. Competitive pay, remote, average ~8.5 hour days, I'm very easy to work under if you're on top of the job. You'll be spread thin for sure but also learn a ton. Very performance focused. Using analytics, tracking pixels, CRM integration, that sort of thing. You'll become a master of turning media dollars into attributable revenue.
Seesaw or Nearpod for 1st/2nd grade in remote learning? I have access to both, but want to begin with one or the other. Thanks in advance!
Do you think firms will ever re-adjust salaries for cost of living if wfh is prolonged due to people moving back to low cost areas?
I am working at MSLGROUP as an Associate, less than 1 yoe , they have asked me to relocate in 4 weeks to the Location (currently wfh). Hello. My district is currently remote (virtual) and I am teaching a chemical reactions unit. Usually, this is a hands on unit. I cannot do hands-on labs for equity reasons. My district does not have subscriptions to any science lab simulation sites at the middle school level. We use the NGSS. We are standards based grading and I can only grade the stand MS-PS1-2. Anyone have suggestions on free simulations I can use? I teach synchronously to my students 2 classes (2 hours total ) each week.

Anyone know of job opportunities for a UK qualified solicitor (corporate law) in Germany? Doesn't necessarily have to be legal counsel, open to other roles, preferably not a big corporate firm (mental health reasons). S.O. and I are moving to Germany, both are allowed to work there due to EU nationality so visa is not an issue. Unfortunately not great German language skills (fully aware this poses a problem). Would really appreciate any help on this, TIA.
If I use a free night award at a Ritz, can I still try to use a suite night upgrade or get an upgrade as an Ambassador, or better to just use my points straight out for an upgrade?

Pretty sure I can do anything for 6 days straight. I can work for 6 days straight, sleep very little, etc., but have a hard physiological need for at least ONE day to myself and TWO mornings to sleep in. Is this too much to ask?
This is probably a dumb post, I'm interested in startups and would like to learn more/research what's out there. What are some good resources to get going? I've looked at AngelList - any other resource/suggestions? For reference, 6 YOE in consulting, focused on data.
Any advice on going from consultant at D (2.5 YOE post-undergrad) to MBB? I work in supply chain technology and operations in a product-manager type role.
My friends in Big 4 have received 16-20% average base pay hike this year across all levels. How much can we expect?
To all the veteran teachers: It's my 10th year as a teacher and 1 of my strengths is my enthusiasm and the desire to affect and impact student lives as positively as possible. But, I've always noticed there are always a few older teachers who just seem to have no passion in teaching. My question is, if you started your career with a similar attitude as mine, were there years where you just phoned things in? Does the enthusiasm come back? How many years in before you "lost" the passion?
I'm interviewing for a project manager position at a place that provides support for a prominent Bay Area tech company. I was approached by a recruiter from Planet Technology. The role is a 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension. What's the minimum hourly wage I'd need to make in order to live comfortably and afford health insurance in San Jose? I'm 30 years old w/out kids. My husband is currently unemployed so this is assuming that I'm supporting us both. Appreciate any advice!
