Panerai style is polarizing in general; some people really like them and some people really hate them. The important thing is whether or not you like it. There are enough people who have liked them for enough time that it’s not ridiculous to think they’re cool. They’re not my favorite but I appreciate the simple clear style of them.

My guys, both gone to other homes. I loved my Luminors, but they were definitely more trendy 10 years ago. I don’t have the wrist for 44mm, so my next PAM will likely be a 42mm Submersible.

It’s polarizing, but I love it’s distinctiveness. For the longest time, the size has been a deterrent but with the new 40mm, it’s worth another look

I am a big fan. It’s one of those you either love it or you hate it. My first big boy watch was a 44mm Luminor Marina, which I eventually downsized to a 40mm Luminor. Just ordered another one, the Luminor 1950 with a 42mm case. Should be getting it next week. I can’t wait!

While there are pockets of excellence & collegial respect at D - overall, D culture is toxic, particularly for people of color, Black people, & non-binary people. So, if you fall in any one of those groups, & you are told/wondering if you are being “sensitive” or “overreacting” to what you’re seeing,hearing, & sensing-I can assure you that you aren’t. Get what you can from the firm (experiences/certs) & pivot to something better.
