What are your thoughts on prioritizing WLB early on in your career? I realized from internships I need personal time for socializing and reading, and anything over 40 hours is detrimental to that. If I’m hoping to be a high earner later in life, am I getting in the way of this?

I suggest to alternate high intensity and low intensity periods in your career. During the low intensity you read / study all you can, + enjoy life. During the high intensity, you put in practice, stretch yourself, build experience. If you only do high intensity, your view may be too narrow, low innovation and creativity, and risk of burnout. If you only do low intensity, is hard to build the experience to make big bucks. Build your career strategy thinking about this balance

TLDR; He really let himself go, had no interest in things I found fun, was uncompromising, had a terrible work ethic, delusions of grandeur, unrealistic goals that he put zero effort towards, etc. At the time of the break up his inability to get a job (cont.)

Just talked to a doordash recruiter for analytics manager role which requires 6+ years work experience. They offered 108k base and 107k equity over 4 years. So that ~130k and it’s much less than what I make. The LinkedIn link says the range in Colorado is 115k-149k base. I live in a big city in Pacific Northwest which is not Seattle. Am I being low balled?
