Looking for feedback for a Project Management Platform for SMBs, freelancers and Founders
Hi! A friend recently launched a Project Management software called Heycollab - I think it’s pretty cool and like the UI but I’d love to get more feedback - they’re very passionate about the product and would appreciate the help!

I look at influencers as a quick hit for results, but it’s a wave. Once the wave is over, then what?
You need to have things in place that keep the rhythm going, otherwise, you’ll always look to influencer to impact your business. Another thing, what if the video didn’t get 200k-600k views (for whatever reason), then what?
There are a lot of “why’s” in this one, so I would start diving in to see where the low hanging fruit is when it comes getting results.
I love influencer partnerships, don’t get me wrong, but I would talk about the before and after plan to achieve your goals.
We have a pretty stable customer acquisition strategy right now with Google.
This influencer is for what you mentioned “a quick sell”
Yeah that’s always a risk if the video doesn’t get a lot of views.
I guess my question is do “product plugs” actually work? the influencer does a great job explaining our product.

It can be beneficial for a one time boost, but in my experience that's all it is.
I paid for a series of influencer videos a few years ago, one each from three influencers, spaced two months apart, and I got a spike in orders when their videos came out and then sales went back to normal shortly thereafter.
I didn't recoup my expenses from the influencers, but I'm in a niche market (gourmet bacon), so your experience may vary.
That’s kind of the experience I was describing. Gary Vee talked about this (I know I know) where he suggested creating a better value for the influencer that gives them vested interest. IE - share of the company, or commission program, etc. Something different that generates long-term value for both parties. Obviously that’s tough and might be out of your control, but I do think there’s opportunity there to get what you’re after.
10K views is nothing. A lot of the view counts happen early on when it’s posted so I’m wondering how it’s going to climb to 200K-600K views within a reasonable timeframe.
If it's a yearly video and his subscribers expect it, then you have much less risk (i.e. YouTube rewind reactions from each influencer, which come out on schedule every year and get millions of views).
