Earlier i was hired to work on testing/automation but after joining training was never given on that and they took me in an internal project which i wasn't aware of. After working for more than a year i want to switch to testing, so I requested the same to a higher official. They said we can't switch you to testing as you don't have training but we can take you later on and give you training side by side with your current project. Should I believe them or switch the company. Please help PwC

In house is very limiting. You’ll have many more future options if you go to a law firm first.
Been at both. Inhouse has worse training by far. All of the substantive work is either farmed out or you’re only in a supervising role. You won’t learn reasons for specific changes unless your senior GC is the type that monitors such changes and engages outside proactively in discussions. Flip side, you learn first hand what business side focuses on and considers significant and what risks are standard per trade and ok to give. You also become a good manager of outside counsels/vendors.
