Really good question. Following this thread. I’m looking to buy a new sports model right at $10,000. I’m actually thinking the Panerai submersible. MSRP is overpriced but can easily get 15-20% off from ADs and probably closer to 30% off if lightly preowned. Can’t really think of anything better. The Rolex sport models (Sub, gmt, Daytona) are impossible to get for under $10k so I’m not considering those. The Omega planet ocean is a contender but I think those are well under $10k. I’ve been interested in learning more about the Octo Finisimo recently (slightly over budget) but a beautiful GG design that may rival the royal oak and nautilus one day.
