Is anyone here familiar with RSUs and stock options as part of divorce? My arbitrator was not and she asked us to hire an expert to get a valuation. She’s convinced I cannot take my portion in kind if we could not settle on the value and I don’t want to be forced to sell my half to Husband at whatever valuation expert provides today (RSUs and stock options are under Husband’s name). I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

Does anyone know the answer to this? - My first mortgage statement was generated on 11/2 with a due date of 12/1 and includes a month of interest based on the balance on 11/2. I made a principle only payment on 11/14 of $500 which was applied right away. Will the interest automatically recalc to reflect a lower outstanding balance for a portion of the month? I plan to do this every month.
