I love my TUMI alpha backpack. It's a unisex one, the largest model. If I am going on just a one night trip for work, I actually can bring that backpack and a small purse without bringing anything else.

Hi All. I am currently working in TCS and pursuing my PGP in Data Science and Business Analytics from Great Learning. I don't know much about job opportunities. I love travelling and some of my friends travel to different countries for a short stint (1-2y) for work. Is there any job/company that would be allow me to travel often (to different countries) as a Data Scientist/Analyst? Sorry if the question sounds dumb. Thanks in advance!

I recently joined a company of 400 people as the only Talent Acquisition Specialist. I feel like the role I'm doing is so much more than a Specialist level. I feel I'm being underpaid and my title doesn't actually align with what I'm doing. I feel like a Manager. I'm trying to recruit on 15+ different positions while trying to manage so many other ongoing projects and requests. How do I bring this up without sounding like I'm complaining? Is it worth saying something?

How do you deal with teammates who don't take initiative or move things forward on a project without being told to do so?

We have a deliverable due on Friday with alot of things to get done before then and seems like no one cares? I ask for status updates and all I get is no, haven't done that, will do it now. Sure enough, ask next day and the response is no, haven't done it yet.

These folks are seniors as well. Partner looks to me to provide a status update, and all I can say is in process.

I'm trying to compare the perks and benefits of leadership positions at the four big CRE firms; JLL, Cushman Wakefield, CBRE and Colliers. Can anyone comment on any perks or benefits they get at the companies I don't work for? I'm thinking company swag, travel to conferences or to meet with clients, leadership retreats, nice offices, vehicles, clothing allowances etc. Curious if there are any benefits to being a leader at any of the other firms. Thanks

Has anyone ever gotten the SGB treatment? Was doing some research on chronic pain management treatments and found something called Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB), a non-invasive injection that helps chronic pain, anxiety and PTSD symptoms. Helps 'reset' the flight or fight CNS.

Unsure of how to handle - or what the collective thinks - but in an interview last week COO of the office asks me ‘so are children in your near future?’

Preface, this was preceded by the interviewer going on and on about the need to work long and unfair hours (his words).

This is a pile of bullshit right? Also illegal from what I can gather. Have no desire to pursue the roll but figure I should tell them how shitty that is.

Considering moving into this apartment complex, and it's a gorgeous little gem and recently renovated, but I just learned that it's a former WWII US Army medical facility... So, like, I'm not super into ghost stuff, but it's kind of eery to imagine sleeping in the same room where some poor WWII soldiers might have gotten their feet amputated or whatever. That, and apparently the leasing office isn't great. All that said, should I go for it? 🤔

Today is secretaries day and they posted signs all over the office for them, I find that 100% fantastic! The problem I have is that paras and janitors we're barely acknowledged. Our sunshine said something to us a days after para appreciation day and my team, sped and grade team, both acknowledged us...

Crazy ethics issue. Client 1 has VPO against man who later becomes Client 2. This is the 4th VPO this year, previous ones dismissed.

In the meantime, State has filed rape charges against man who becomes Client 2 and A/B charges against Client 1. Client 1 also files for divorce.

Clients reconcile (which is how they both end up clients...) and want VPO dismissed, divorce dismissed, and criminal charges dismissed.

DHS gets involved and want to remove the child from Client 1's custody. (1/2)
