What calling and data plans would be ideal for a 2-3 weeks trip to Australia? At&t international roaming plans seem expensive and I have a locked phone

Thanks A1. Would getting a local sim card once there be the cheapest option?

http://prepaid-data-sim-card.wikia.com/wiki/Australia You’ll need to have AT&T unlock your phone before you go if you bought it through them

OP, the cheapest option in almost any foreign country is to just buy a local SIM card in the destination country. Don't buy ahead of time or at the airport, just go to the local cellphone / carrier store. Do a little research ahead of time to see what carriers are compatible with your phone and to make sure your phone in unlocked.

Where are you going to in Australia? That makes a big difference in carriers. I was there for 4 months this year and travelled everywhere but Northern Territory & South Australia (both AUS states). I had Vodafone which was great in cities but was really spotty in rural areas. Telestra is the best coverage if you're doing an Outback Roadtrip or hiking around Tassie.

I have Sprint and it’s free to be add on the global plan that includes data and calls.

Thanks everyone.. @ASA1 we are planning mainly the major cities and some scenic routes around the Great Barrier Reef.. Telestra does seem to have the best coverage based on online research.. was just wondering how to go about the first day until I get a local sim..

Deloitte laid off CM analyst and consultants .. tech adoption / digital enablement. A recruiter contacted me about a role that states a plus for knowing Deloitte CM method and Change Scout. It is a contractor to hire position. 100% remote now and possibly future. Company is Cleveland, OH. DM me and I can send you the deets. Rate is too low for me.

Anyone else here just really unhappy? We make a good salary, get travel benefits, points, hotel status, car rentals. Something is just still pretty depressing.

Back before we entered the twilight zone, did your employer provide additional compensation for employees they deemed to be “frequent” travelers? If so, how was it structured? EY, Deloitte, Crowe, and Revint did. My current employer, Dixon Hughes (DHG) does not. I’d like to enter in to a dialogue with HR before we start traveling again. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Hi everyone! Has anyone else’s number of “team meetings” with leadership increased (i.e.: 1x a week to 3x a week via zoom)? If so, do you feel the need to still have multiple meetings per week just to “connect/check in”? How are you keeping them meaningful and intentional? Are team members engaged? When this WFH first started, I feel it made a lot more sense. But now people are rocking and rolling. I’d love to hear about others’ team meeting experiences these days! Be well.

Have CSR. Thinking of getting either the Bonvoy Brilliant Amex or Bonvoy Boundless Amex to use ONLY for my Bonvoy stays (I travel weekly). The 6x Bonvoy points per stay and the 3x CSR points per stay
