You continue doing the job you accepted at the salary you agreed on
Ok came across as things you do today to up your salary relative to peers. When the next review period comes up be proactive with your boss about wanting to see where you line up compared to peers. Depending on your relationship, if comfortable, you can say you are aware of peers making significantly more and see the response. As someone new you need to be patient and show some value to make this conversation easier
Use the new knowledge at the salary negotiation.
We have that once year where I am from.
Simply state that you've found that the market value of your services seems to have increased to about 30k + and that you expect that your salary will reflect that going forward.
Unless you are bluffing they really have no option but to match, as you could just switch jobs + costs on their side associated hiring and onboarding etc. And new candidates likely to demand the same salary anyways. 👏
This is on you. Poor diligence and negotiation
My response is my observation of the situation. I’m implying you can’t do anything. Go ahead and ask for more money but they’re going to say no. They’ll cite experience, location, etc in defending why they have pay bands
Reminds me of when Pippen took the long term deal with the Bulls, and was upset a few years later because he realized he could have gotten much more. Lesson learned, but the only corrective action is to keep interviewing. Get another job offer and have them match, or take it.
And don't talk about salary, it will just piss you off, or the other person. No win situation.
Thanks, I don’t want to intimidate them with another offer right now, it’s too soon and may come off as aggressive/greedy.

Always works better to move
It’s been only a couple months here. Don’t wanna look like a hopper. Plus making a move comes with a lot of work.
