Is it awkward to bring up the possibility of annual merit raise (usually done at end of year) with my boss now? I got used to working from home. I just moved and haven't had internet for 2 weeks. I've had to start commuting to the office again for internet. I now realize what a waste of time a commute is. It robs me of over an hour of productive time every day. While I prefer to meet in person, virtual meetings are so much more efficient, even if they're not as personal. When this is done I'll need to find the balance.
