What changes could news outlets make that would help you trust them more?

Disengage from the political interests to which they are tied and this is done by bringing to light the agreements by which they defined their support for someone.

A very good way would be to expose the links that the owners of the newspapers have, the people who demand what type of news will appear and what not, with the people who pay for certain types of news to appear.

I think the best change is to respect the work ethic and that the country's regulatory bodies are no longer flawed so that they can punish those who use the media as a weapon of political manipulation.

I think that the media owes a debt to the public, things that we all know happened and that they never reported to avoid or to obey or for convenience, I think that a way to apologize to the people would be to show everything that was censored.

There is no way for the media to recover the lost field, the only way is what many journalists are doing independently, forming a responsible and informative figure, that is the only way to obtain real and truthful information today and the media are things From the past.

Not being biased, for one, but seeing how things are and how they've been coming along, we have a loooong way to go before we get actual impartial news.

There are a few things that news outlets could do in order to help earn my trust. First and foremost, they could be more transparent with their sources and reporting. I would also appreciate if they made a greater effort to include dissenting voices and perspectives in their coverage.

It would be helpful if news outlets were more proactive in correcting any factual errors that may occur in their coverage. So much misinformation nowadays.

For them to stop using twitter as if it were the only place to post their news. Twitter is basically a sewage, and misinformation is too much.

So I posted a bit ago about getting IV hydration and vitamins. You guys gave me the courage to try it. After I had it done, I didn't feel much of a difference and figured I just spent a bunch of $ to relax for an hour in a massage chair. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But this has been the best week I've had energy-wise in the last seven months. And I kind of wish I could post before/after pics because apparently I was very bloated. I've been focusing on keeping up with my hydration at home. Thx ladies!

I need a career change and I could use some advice.
I know the industry I want to work in (Entertainment, Film&TV) but I’m having difficulty choosing positions to apply for.
I have a BSc in Economics for Arts, Culture and Comms (focused on the film industry), 7 years of experience in a big name news channel (operations dept) and I speak 7 languages (at different fluency levels).
Are there any specific positions that would most benefit from multilingualism where that would give me a boost? Thx

Tell me your craziest experience working with a TV network. Here comes mine:

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.

So I recently started a position with Fox. When it was presented to me in interview, I was told I would be working aligned with Fox Sports & Entertainment, not so much News.
