Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Curiosity
I have never needed a drug test for a govt clearance. I have held a TS for years. I did however need one for a part time Walmart job at Christmas.
What that means I don’t know.
I have TS/SCI eligible and did not have to take a drug test, although I did discuss past drug use on the application and in the interviews.
It highly depends on agency and also if your firm requires it. I’ve only been drug tested not based on clearance but based on firm that hired me.
Depends on the client. Ive been drug tested for public trust
Thank you^ that is helpful to know
For most civilian agencies an actual drug test is not required.
A clearance can be taken away if you use drugs while you have it.
Related to agency not clearance level. USPS tests but only needs a public trust for example. I have a TS and have never gotten one
I've only heard of USPS drug testing if getting your clearance to work on their contracts. Have secret on a DoD account and no testing.
Following!!!
Technically, all of them, however I have a TS/SCI and have NEVER had a drug test.
What about public trust? Also does it depend on the agency- I’m working on a CMS contract
If you have to get a drug test, that is the agency or your employer requiring it. The folks that actually give you the public trust(OPM) don't require it as a stipulation for receiving the public trust
Any USPS folks know what that process is like?
