Clearances don’t have drug tests. Clearance applications ask you if you’ve done drugs and when and what and how often. And your application is reviewed and you usually have an interview and they may also call your contacts that you’ve listed, friends who’ve known you for many years. And you shouldn’t lie on your application.
Maybe you stay away from federal work....
Depends on the client not the clearance level
You can’t beat the poly...so if you’re just getting a secret, then hey. I guess you win. Of course you probably have signed multiple documents attesting that you never used drugs. So if you get caught, you’re done, find a new line of work. I’ve processed similar Incident reports, and I generally don’t take pleasure in them, but these people made their own choice. Live with it.
Right. They signed the sf-86. I don't feel bad for people who knowingly lie and then get caught.
I've met several people who do drugs and have TS.
I definitely was.
No clearances but certain agencies do. USPS for one, in my experience.
I heard they really don't go by the poly. Just keep asking you the same questions over and over to see of you're lying and they try to get you to confess.
I'm not taking it lol. Just telling you what I heard.
