I think it should also include what clients you would NEVER work for..

OP we don’t want to disclose client names in the thread....

Heard of this company that’s about to get bought out, supposed to be big $$ involved... think it’s called Michael Scott Paper Company?

funny

Public sector sucks but if you live in that state it is kinda satisfying

Yes. Lets unveil our clients!

None. Not one. Maybe it's because I've seen how they make their sausage and I'm now a vegetarian

LOL. Jumping to a previous client is the thing you do when you know you’re about to get canned at year end

If I needed to exit, I'd go to Wayne Enterprises

DoD or intelligence community. Really cool, sometimes nerve wracking, efforts and missions.

Trying to figure out what do I do if I want a new coach. Not trying to make a long post so I'll keep it short. My coach hasn't been very participative in my career and actually hindered me when we were on a project together. Even after leaving the project I tried to keep up the relationship but she just wasn't attentive during our checkins and seemed really uninterested. I know I can get a new coach but if I submit the form on Dnet is it automatic or do I have to find someone to fill the roll?

Is tech sales really worth the hype? I know the earning potential is much higher, but coming from a consulting background is it really hardcore sales “cold calling”, or more client management and building on top of preexisting relationships? Hearing mixed opinions on transferring offices at BCG. I’ll be a summer associate at one of the smaller offices (think Detroit/Philly/NJ), but I spent my whole life in the same state as the office I will join. I’d like to transfer to a bigger office after my internship (CHI/NY/BOS). I’ve heard that if you’re within the same region, it’s easier. However, my reason for transferring would be to experience a new, bigger city than the one I’ve always been in. Would I be able to do this post-summer?

Product Management - I am somewhat interested in trying to move into product management. I have led internal analytics product development at a prior firm, and have led clients through developing/improving “products” for their teams to use however I have not led “consumer facing” products and my experiences have not been as “formal” as many PM roles ask for. I work in healthcare and would want to stay there. I’m wondering if others have any thoughts on these transitions.

My MIL has made remarks to my husband that she doesn’t understand why we need a nanny for our infant since I am able to WFH (I’m a biglaw associate). She also doesn’t get why we have a cleaner and dog walker and seems to imply we’re wasting our money by outsourcing funds on things we can do. She was a SAHM so I guess I understand why she feels that way, but how do I explain to her why these things are necessary? I actually love my MIL but this is driving me nuts.
