What cologne do you use?

Hey 👋 I’m new here and I was wondering if anyone had any advice about dealing with the financial burdens of therapy. I wasn’t finding anyone in network in my area who would be a good for for me so I’ve been seeing someone out of network and going for insurance reembursment but I’m still paying about $100 per session and at 25 it’s financially stressful for me. Is there such thing as supplemental insurance to help cover therapy costs?

Anyone taken Reg recently? Did Becker alone prepare you? What supplemental course did you use

We’re getting married next spring and trying to put together our website.
Many weddings we’re attending this year have some sort of Covid-disclaimer on them saying “please have a negative PCR test or be vaccinated beforehand” (paraphrasing), but it’s the honor system, no one is checking.
For 2022, is that type of language necessary? Vaccines will have been out 1 year. The state we are getting married won’t require it (southern state), it feels like it’s on the individual wedding to say (or not).

Anyone here have a strangely low resting heart rate? Mine is pretty low, but I don’t feel faint or any of the other negative symptoms of a lower heart rate, which has kept me from going to then doctor. Curious if anyone has experienced something similar.

I have a student with autism. He is mostly behavioral and at a lower learning level so he has to be in a separate classroom. We try to let him play with the students at recess or join in class parties. He has a sibling that attends school as well. When we were waiting in car line a group of girls talked about how they feel so bad for the sibling because of my student. Thankfully, neither student or sibling heard. But how do I respond to that as an adult? Especially, if they do hear?

Is it possible to lose weight with minimum workout and no extreme diets? I know I have to change my eating habits but I really don't believe that cutting carbs or sugar completely out of my life is the answer. Was planning to have green smoothies in the morning, and then lunch and dinner 50% veggies, 25% carbs and 25% protein. If I have a carby meal like pasta then the other one in the same day has to be only veggies and protein. Does this sound ok?

I need to go into a calorie deficit but I’m a big guy with a real appetite. What are some of your favorite tips/foods to realistically and sustainably achieves calorie deficit?

Has anyone price compared the cost of braces vs invisalign with insurance? My insurance company is telling me it’d be the same cost for both as the negotiated rate for both are the same. In other words the dental rate for invisalign is $7K while the rate insurance allows them to charge is $5k (I’m guessing the dental rate for braces is higher than $5K and therefore would still get me down to $5K). This seems odd so I’m wondering if anyone has first hand experience.

I’m starting the application journey now, with GMAT. I started looking at books and the most commonly available books in my country (not US) are the Kaplan ones. I searched the bowl and saw most suggested books (besides official guides) are from manhattan prep. Should I try and get the manhattan ones instead of kaplan? Anyone here with experience with both? P.S.: If it makes any difference, I don’t know my base score yet (will take the test today, might update later) but my target is 730+

Currently in an APAC based LMM/MM PE focusing on tech and had joined the firm straight out of school. I intend on sticking to PE long term, but am curious about my career and financial trajectory in 3 cases.

1) stick to my current firm and eventually make partner

2) go for a Master’s degree and then move to an UMM/MF PE or MBB -> UMM/MF

3) Stay in the current firm and start my own fund with other Associates in the future.
