Thanks but this is not grammar 101

like

McKinsey had best I've seen Deloitte's were very good

like

My offer basically covered 100% medical - for everything I was looking for at least. I didn't look at thinks like orthodontics or different eye care. First company I ever saw that would cover pets.

like

BCG has great healthcare etc. not sure if standard but only 3 weeks vacation

like

I meant to ask.. what companies in the industry (that is, outside of consulting) provide good benefits ?

like

Companies in industry, not companies in *the* industry

like

Thank you OP

like

EY's is average at best..

PC1, does McKinsey provide 100% coverage for health? I just heard it from a friend

Depends on the office

They cover pets? Damn that's nice

No one read the RFP ! The questions states " in the industry".

In the consulting industry..?

The parlance is consulting versus industry, never consulting industry in my experience

I would say we are in the consulting industry. Professional services is a bit of a broader classification.

OP care to elaborate ?

Seems like this is a good place to get a reality check on what I am looking for in a position. I am trying to leave my current firm. I am a Senior Tax Accountant. Been the only Senior for a year. Currently make $76k. Had a bonus of $4500 this year. Not sure what the bonus is going to be next year (or if there will be any) since they are moving to a new bonus plan that is supposed to be more "fair and generous" We have a Safe harbor 401k plan. So get an automatic 3% contribution to 401K.

Has the blush come off the rose for this shining city on a hill? Have any other foreign fish in the US been asking yourself why we made the conscious decision to seek out a life in this country? The racial tensions and frequent shootings (including a much covered grocery store that I used to frequent) are outweighing the benefits of staying here. Never have I had to worry this much about going to the grocery store. The reaction of society here towards these issues is also dismal. Is it worth it?

My husband and I (both 27) max out our Roth IRAs each year, have a complete emergency fund, and I’m able to start maxing my 401K this year (he contributes 10% to his 401K - it isn’t possible for him to max his based on his current pay). We contribute 18% extra towards principal on our mortgage each month. We now have about $20k of additional savings we want to figure out what to do with. What would you recommend to someone who is new to stocks/investments?

Trying to determine if switching to industry is worth the pay cut or if anyone has any other suggestions of jobs to look towards, please lmk

ACN 🐟 Is there a reason why the benefits package is hush hush? I'd like to compare my current package to the one ACN offers and I was told by the recruiter that they can't give it to me. I'm not asking for cost, just what's covered. Which honestly, not even saying how much it'll cost you is weird, too.
