What consulting title does VP in PE typically equate with?

Trying to learn SEO and need to start with the basics, advice abt free resources would be really helpful

Thinking about leaving Big 4 and going into internal audit (currently about to be a Senior in Assurance).

I like working on controls/SOX much more than substantive. I thought about switching internally to advisory and doing internal audit but not sure what the best move is.

I don’t see myself ever doing a technical accounting role or any financial accounting roles. Ideally I would like to transition to more business operations type of roles throughout my career. Any advice is appreciated!

I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. Completed a process for a position about 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back. They indicated it would be a lengthy turnaround given they are setting up a new fund and building the team top down. A new analyst has joined our team and we often give them models/ slides but don’t always ask them if they know all of the accounting principles to be able to make minute adjustments to EBITDA or free cash flow. We are a FIG platform, so the knowledge required is relatively unique as well and not as easy to google as corporate transactions. Is there a better way to coach the analyst short of just throwing them in the deep end to figure it out or should we wait for them to ask us for help?
